Delayed electrical detonators
Delayed electrical detonators are detonators that delay the initiation of the explosive. Each detonator comes with an internal delay.
The detonators are connected sequentially, ensuring the activation of all the detonators without exception, and allow the use of a gauge to test the integrity.
Use options
Use for all types of work where there is no static electricity present.
Advantages
- Optimal delay control
- The integrity of each detonator and the entire circuit can be tested
- All the detonators can be connected sequentially, ensuring the activation of all the detonators during the explosion
- Easy and convenient to use and transport
Sensitivity and initiation
The detonators can be transported and used pursuant to Explosives (Trade, Transportation, Manufacture, Storage, and Use) Regulations, 5754-1994
Technical data
Delay between the explosions: 25 milliseconds; 21 millisecond delay in a sequence
Explosion strength: detonator no. 8 failure
Explosion speed: 7,400 m/sec
Packaging
Each series (21) is packed in a paper bag with protective covering of the shortened and exposed wires
Length
Delayed detonators can be ordered at any length longer than 1.5 meters
